drawing a person for the first time

I remember the first time I drew a person. I was about three years old. I'd tried to draw people before, but they had only ever looked like scribbles. Then, success! This person had a circle head with two large circle eyes, and perhaps a line mouth. Two long stork legs came directly from the head, toddling on large disk-like feet. I was so excited and proud of my drawing because, for the first time, it actually looked like a person.

This is Kidoodle's first person, as far as I know. It is his friend Aaron.

Kidoodle likes to build with blocks, color, playdough sculpt, and draw, though I'm not sure he is as excited by it as I am. I have loved seeing his creative processes and abilities change as he grew from a two year old to a three year old.

P.S. Don't you just love that he isn't yet inhibited by staying in the coloring book lines?
